Tri-ang Hornby Canadian Pacific Container Wagon – Canadian Issue – Vintage Boxed

Tri-ang Hornby Canadian Pacific Container Wagon – Canadian Issue – Vintage Boxed

A fantastic vintage Tri-ang Hornby Canadian-market model featuring a 60ft flat car with two 30ft Canadian Pacific containers.

This is a particularly interesting collector’s piece as this version was produced specifically for the Canadian market, with only around 7,000 examples recorded as being produced.

It comes in its distinctive original-style Canadian clear display “bubble” packaging with bilingual English/French wording – a lovely feature that makes this much more unusual than the standard UK Tri-ang Hornby releases.

• Tri-ang Hornby
• Canadian Pacific Railway
• 60ft flat car
• Two 30ft Canadian Pacific containers
• Canadian-market issue
• R.735 / R.7352 series
• HO/OO model railway
• Circa late 1960s / early 1970s
• Vintage clear display packaging
• English/French Canadian packaging
• Approximately 7,000 produced

The model displays beautifully and the containers retain their attractive Canadian Pacific lettering. The vintage packaging shows some age-related wear, as would be expected, so please see photographs for condition.

A superb and unusual piece for a Tri-ang, Hornby, Canadian Pacific or vintage model railway collection.
