Matchbox 40th Anniversary Collection – 5 Model Commemorative Set – 1988

A lovely vintage Matchbox 40th Anniversary Collection commemorative set, released in 1988 to celebrate the history of the iconic Matchbox Series.

This presentation set contains recreations of five classic early Matchbox models:

• No. 1 Aveling Barford Road Roller
• No. 4 Massey Harris Tractor
• No. 5 London Double Decker Bus
• No. 7 Horse Drawn Milk Float
• No. 9 Dennis Fire Engine

All five models are presented in the original yellow flocked display insert with the attractive vintage-style Matchbox presentation box.

The models are in lovely condition and the set appears complete. The outer box shows some light age-related storage wear, so please see photographs for exact condition.

A colourful nostalgic display piece and a great gift for a Matchbox, Lesney or vintage diecast collector.
